Brad Isbister is a former professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for over a decade. He was born on May 7, 1977, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Isbister started his hockey career in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Portland Winterhawks in 1994. He played for the Winterhawks for three seasons, scoring 98 goals and 118 assists in 179 games.

In 1995, Isbister was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the third round of the NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Jets in the 1997-98 season, playing in 12 games and scoring two goals and two assists. Isbister played for the Jets for two seasons before the team moved to Phoenix and became the Coyotes.

Isbister played for the Coyotes for three seasons, from 1998 to 2001. He had his best season with the team in 2000-01, scoring 22 goals and 24 assists in 82 games. In 2001, Isbister was traded to the New York Islanders in exchange for a second-round draft pick.

Isbister played for the Islanders for three seasons, from 2001 to 2004. He had his best season with the team in 2002-03, scoring 22 goals and 22 assists in 82 games. In 2004, Isbister was traded to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick.

Isbister played for the Oilers for one season, in 2004-05. He scored 10 goals and 12 assists in 63 games. Isbister then signed as a free agent with the Boston Bruins in 2005. He played for the Bruins for one season, scoring six goals and 10 assists in 63 games.

Isbister then signed as a free agent with the Carolina Hurricanes in 2006. He played for the Hurricanes for one season, scoring three goals and six assists in 34 games. Isbister then signed as a free agent with the Vancouver Canucks in 2007. He played for the Canucks for one season, scoring four goals and six assists in 42 games.

Isbister retired from professional hockey in 2008. He played in a total of 541 NHL games, scoring 106 goals and 129 assists. Isbister was known for his size and physical play, standing at 6'4" and weighing 225 pounds. He was also known for his versatility, playing both left and right wing throughout his career.

After retiring from hockey, Isbister became a coach and mentor for young hockey players. He founded the Brad Isbister Hockey School in Edmonton, which provides training and development for young players. Isbister also works as a scout for the Arizona Coyotes.
