Brad Malone is a former professional ice hockey player who played as a forward. He was born on May 20, 1989, in Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada. Malone began his hockey career playing for the Sioux Falls Stampede in the United States Hockey League (USHL) during the 2007-2008 season. He then went on to play for the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux from 2008 to 2011.

Malone was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the fourth round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Avalanche on December 9, 2011, against the New York Rangers. Malone played a total of 22 games for the Avalanche during the 2011-2012 season, scoring two goals and one assist.

After spending two seasons with the Avalanche, Malone was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes in June 2014. He played a total of 37 games for the Hurricanes during the 2014-2015 season, scoring two goals and three assists. Malone also played for the Hurricanes' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers, during the 2014-2015 season.

Malone signed with the Washington Capitals as a free agent in July 2015. He played for the Capitals' AHL affiliate, the Hershey Bears, during the 2015-2016 season. Malone was called up to the Capitals for one game during the 2015-2016 season but did not record any points.

In July 2016, Malone signed a one-year contract with the Edmonton Oilers. He played for the Oilers' AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors, during the 2016-2017 season. Malone was called up to the Oilers for 12 games during the 2016-2017 season, scoring one goal and one assist.

Malone signed a one-year contract with the Minnesota Wild in July 2017. He played for the Wild's AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild, during the 2017-2018 season. Malone was called up to the Wild for seven games during the 2017-2018 season but did not record any points.

Malone signed a one-year contract with the Rochester Americans, the AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres, in July 2018. He played for the Americans during the 2018-2019 season, scoring six goals and 12 assists in 68 games.

Malone signed a one-year contract with the San Diego Gulls, the AHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks, in July 2019. He played for the Gulls during the 2019-2020 season, scoring six goals and 10 assists in 51 games.

Malone announced his retirement from professional hockey on August 25, 2020, after playing for 12 seasons. He played a total of 176 NHL games, scoring 13 goals and 12 assists. Malone also played in 523 AHL games, scoring 94 goals and 129 assists.
