Brian Falkenborg is a former professional baseball player who played as a relief pitcher for various teams in Major League Baseball (MLB) and in international leagues. He was born on January 18, 1978, in Newport Beach, California, and attended Redmond High School in Washington.

Falkenborg began his professional baseball career in 1996 when he was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the second round of the MLB draft. He spent several years in the Orioles' minor league system before making his MLB debut on April 6, 1999, against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He pitched in 11 games for the Orioles that season, posting a 5.40 earned run average (ERA) in 11.2 innings pitched.

Over the next several years, Falkenborg bounced around between various MLB teams, including the San Diego Padres, Kansas City Royals, and Los Angeles Dodgers. He also played in the minor leagues for several teams, including the Norfolk Tides, Portland Beavers, and Las Vegas 51s.

Falkenborg's best season in the MLB came in 2007 when he pitched for the Dodgers. He appeared in 43 games that season, posting a 3.92 ERA in 41.1 innings pitched. He also recorded his first and only MLB save on August 29, 2007, against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

After his stint with the Dodgers, Falkenborg played in various international leagues, including the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) and the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) league in Japan. He played for the Uni-President Lions in the CPBL from 2009 to 2011, where he was named an All-Star in 2010. He then played for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp in the NPB from 2012 to 2013.

Falkenborg retired from professional baseball in 2014 at the age of 36. Over the course of his career, he appeared in 59 MLB games, posting a 5.59 ERA in 71.1 innings pitched. He also played in 276 games in international leagues, posting a 3.03 ERA in 284.2 innings pitched.

In addition to his baseball career, Falkenborg is also a licensed real estate agent in California. He currently resides in Newport Beach with his wife and children.
