Brian O'Neill is a professional hockey player who has had a successful career in the sport. He began his career in the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, where he was named to the USHL All-Rookie Team in 2009. He then went on to play college hockey at the University of Notre Dame, where he was named to the All-CCHA First Team in 2011 and 2012.

After college, O'Neill signed with the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL). He made his NHL debut in 2013 and went on to play in a total of 66 games with the Kings over the next two seasons. During this time, he also spent time with the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League (AHL).

In 2015, O'Neill signed with the New Jersey Devils and was assigned to their AHL affiliate, the Albany Devils. He had a successful season with the team, leading them to the Calder Cup Finals. He was also named to the AHL All-Star Team and was a finalist for the AHL's Most Valuable Player Award.

In 2016, O'Neill signed with the Pittsburgh Penguins and was assigned to their AHL affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. He had another successful season with the team, leading them to the Calder Cup Finals. He was also named to the AHL All-Star Team and was a finalist for the AHL's Most Valuable Player Award.

O'Neill has since gone on to play in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) with HC Sochi. He has continued to be a successful player, and is currently playing in the KHL All-Star Game.

Throughout his career, O'Neill has been a consistent and reliable player. He has been a leader on the ice and has been a key contributor to the success of the teams he has played for.
