Brooks Raley is a former professional baseball player who played as a pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on June 29, 1988, in San Antonio, Texas, and attended Texas A&M University, where he played college baseball for the Texas A&M Aggies.

Raley was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the sixth round of the 2009 MLB draft. He spent several years in the Cubs' minor league system, working his way up through the ranks. He made his MLB debut on August 7, 2012, pitching in relief against the San Diego Padres. He appeared in a total of 14 games for the Cubs that season, posting a 7.63 ERA in 15.1 innings pitched.

After spending the 2013 season in the minor leagues, Raley was traded to the Houston Astros in December of that year. He spent the 2014 season in the Astros' minor league system, but did not appear in any MLB games.

In 2015, Raley signed with the Lotte Giants of the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO). He spent three seasons with the Giants, posting a 3.88 ERA in 80 games (including 69 starts). He was named an All-Star in 2016 and 2017, and helped lead the Giants to the KBO playoffs in 2016.

After his stint in Korea, Raley returned to the United States and signed a minor league contract with the Minnesota Twins in December 2017. He spent the 2018 season in the Twins' minor league system, but did not appear in any MLB games.

In 2019, Raley signed with the Cincinnati Reds and made his return to the MLB. He appeared in 43 games for the Reds that season, posting a 4.26 ERA in 44.1 innings pitched. He struck out 43 batters and walked 18.

Raley began the 2020 season with the Reds, but was designated for assignment in August and subsequently claimed off waivers by the Houston Astros. He appeared in 21 games for the Astros that season, posting a 3.94 ERA in 16 innings pitched. He struck out 18 batters and walked 8.

Raley began the 2021 season with the Astros, but was designated for assignment in May and subsequently claimed off waivers by the Minnesota Twins. He appeared in 29 games for the Twins that season, posting a 4.26 ERA in 25.1 innings pitched. He struck out 25 batters and walked 9.

In September 2021, Raley announced his retirement from professional baseball. Over the course of his career, he appeared in a total of 107 MLB games, posting a 4.69 ERA in 105 innings pitched. He struck out 96 batters and walked 43.
