Bryan Anger is a former American football punter who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He was born on October 6, 1988, in Camarillo, California, and attended Camarillo High School, where he played football and soccer.

Anger continued his football career at the University of California, Berkeley, where he played as a punter for four seasons. He was a consistent performer for the Golden Bears, earning All-Pac-12 honors in each of his four seasons. In his senior year, he was named a first-team All-American by the Football Writers Association of America.

In the 2012 NFL Draft, Anger was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the third round, making him the highest-drafted punter since 1995. He quickly became the Jaguars' starting punter and held the position for four seasons. During his time in Jacksonville, Anger set several franchise records, including the highest gross punting average in a single season (47.8 yards) and the most punts inside the 20-yard line in a single season (41).

In 2016, Anger signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a free agent. He played for the Buccaneers for four seasons, during which he continued to be a reliable punter. In 2019, he set a career-high with a 46.4-yard gross punting average and was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in a game against the Atlanta Falcons.

After his time with the Buccaneers, Anger signed with the Houston Texans in 2020. He played for the Texans for one season before being released in March 2021. During his NFL career, Anger played in 144 games, punted 672 times for 30,143 yards, and had a career average of 44.9 yards per punt. He also had 194 punts inside the 20-yard line and 34 touchbacks.

In addition to his NFL career, Anger was also a member of the United States national American football team that won the gold medal at the 2015 IFAF World Championship. He was the team's starting punter and was named to the All-Tournament team.
