Bryant Young is a former American football defensive tackle who had a successful career in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted in the first round of the 1994 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers and played for them for 14 seasons. He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and was named to the NFL's All-Decade Team of the 1990s.

Young was known for his leadership and his ability to make big plays. He was a key member of the 49ers defense that helped the team to three consecutive NFC West Division titles from 2001 to 2003. He was a leader on the field and off, and was voted as the team's MVP in 2001.

Young was a disruptive force on the defensive line, recording double-digit sacks in four of his 14 seasons. He was also a great run stopper, recording over 100 tackles in five of his 14 seasons. He was named to the Pro Bowl four times and was a first-team All-Pro selection in 1999.

Young retired in 2007 after 14 seasons in the NFL. He finished his career with 97.5 sacks, the most by a defensive tackle in NFL history. He was inducted into the 49ers Hall of Fame in 2009 and was named to the NFL's All-Decade Team of the 1990s.
