Chad Greenway is a former American football linebacker who played for the Minnesota Vikings in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on January 12, 1983, in Mount Vernon, South Dakota, and attended the University of Iowa, where he played college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Greenway was selected by the Vikings in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft, and he spent his entire 11-year career with the team. He quickly established himself as a key player on the Vikings' defense, earning a starting role in his rookie season and recording 105 tackles, one sack, and two interceptions.

Over the course of his career, Greenway became known for his toughness, durability, and leadership on and off the field.
