Chin-hui Tsao is a former Taiwanese professional baseball player who played as a pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB) for several teams. He began his professional career in 1999, playing for the Colorado Rockies' minor league team. He made his MLB debut in 2003, pitching for the Rockies.

Tsao's career was plagued by injuries, and he spent several seasons in the minor leagues. He also played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Kansas City Royals, and Toronto Blue Jays. In 2005, he underwent Tommy John surgery, which forced him to miss the entire season.

Tsao's best season came in 2006, when he posted a 3.19 earned run average (ERA) in 24 games for the Rockies. However, he struggled with injuries and inconsistency throughout his career. He was released by the Rockies in 2008 and spent the next few years playing in the minor leagues and in Taiwan.

In 2015, Tsao signed a minor league contract with the Dodgers and was called up to the major leagues in August. He pitched in 21 games for the Dodgers, posting a 4.38 ERA. However, he was released by the team at the end of the season.

Tsao signed with the Miami Marlins in 2016 but was released during spring training. He then signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks but was released again before the start of the season. He returned to Taiwan and played for the Lamigo Monkeys of the Chinese Professional Baseball League.

Tsao retired from professional baseball in 2018. Despite his struggles with injuries and inconsistency, he was a talented pitcher who had some success in the major leagues. He finished his career with a 5.25 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 82 innings pitched.
