Connor Barwin is a former American football player who played as a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on October 15, 1986, in Detroit, Michigan, and grew up in a family of athletes. Barwin attended the University of Cincinnati, where he played college football for the Cincinnati Bearcats.

Barwin was selected by the Houston Texans in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He played for the Texans for four seasons, from 2009 to 2012, and was known for his versatility and athleticism. During his time with the Texans, Barwin recorded 19 sacks, 109 tackles, and 3 forced fumbles.

In 2013, Barwin signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as a free agent. He played for the Eagles for four seasons, from 2013 to 2016, and was a key player on their defense. Barwin recorded 31.5 sacks, 253 tackles, and 7 forced fumbles during his time with the Eagles. He was also named to the Pro Bowl in 2014.

After the 2016 season, Barwin signed with the Los Angeles Rams as a free agent. He played for the Rams for one season, in 2017, and recorded 5 sacks, 34 tackles, and 1 forced fumble. Barwin then signed with the New York Giants in 2018, where he played his final season in the NFL. He recorded 1.5 sacks, 12 tackles, and 1 forced fumble during his time with the Giants.

Throughout his career, Barwin was known for his versatility and ability to play multiple positions on defense. He was also known for his work off the field, as he was actively involved in various charitable organizations and community service projects. In 2015, Barwin was named the Eagles' Walter Payton Man of the Year for his work in the community.
