Darcy Kuemper is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who has played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for several teams. He was born on May 5, 1990, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Kuemper began his hockey career in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Red Deer Rebels in 2006. He played for the Rebels for four seasons, from 2006 to 2010, and was named the WHL Goaltender of the Year in 2011.

Kuemper was drafted by the Minnesota Wild in the sixth round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Wild in 2012 and played for the team until 2018.
