David Little was a Scottish footballer who played as a midfielder for a number of clubs throughout his career. He began his career with Rangers, where he made over 200 appearances and won numerous domestic titles, including the Scottish Premier Division and the Scottish Cup.

In 1986, Little moved to Arsenal, where he played for two seasons before joining Queen's Park Rangers. He then had a brief spell with Everton before finishing his career with Sheffield United.

Throughout his career, Little was known for his tough tackling and work rate in midfield. He was also a versatile player, capable of playing in a number of positions across the midfield.

Little was capped 12 times for the Scottish national team, scoring one goal. He was part of the Scotland squad that reached the quarter-finals of the 1986 World Cup in Mexico.

After retiring from playing, Little went on to work as a coach and manager. He had spells in charge of clubs including St Mirren, Arbroath, and Berwick Rangers.

Sadly, Little passed away in 2016 at the age of 50 after a battle with cancer. He was remembered by many in the football community as a hard-working and dedicated player who gave his all for every team he played for.
