Dwayne Henry was a professional baseball player who played as a relief pitcher for several teams during his career. He was born on February 16, 1962, in Elkton, Maryland, and attended the University of Arkansas.

Henry was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the second round of the 1980 Major League Baseball draft. He made his major league debut with the Rangers in 1984 and played for them until 1988. During his time with the Rangers, Henry was primarily used as a relief pitcher and had a career-high 11 saves in 1987.

In 1989, Henry was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers, where he played for one season before being traded to the New York Yankees. He played for the Yankees in 1990 and 1991 before being traded to the Houston Astros in 1992.

Henry played for the Astros for two seasons before being traded to the Kansas City Royals in 1994. He played for the Royals for one season before being released in 1995.

Throughout his career, Henry had a record of 28-32 with a 4.19 ERA and 29 saves. He appeared in 448 games and pitched a total of 556 innings.

After his playing career, Henry worked as a pitching coach for several minor league teams, including the Spokane Indians, the Clinton LumberKings, and the Everett AquaSox.

In 2012, Henry was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame. He currently resides in Arkansas with his family.
