Earl Foreman was a professional basketball player who played for various teams during his career. He was born in the United States and attended Morgan State University, where he played college basketball. After college, Foreman was drafted by the Baltimore Bullets in the 1964 NBA draft. He played for the Bullets for one season before being traded to the Detroit Pistons.

Foreman played for the Pistons for two seasons before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. He played for the 76ers for one season before being traded to the Milwaukee Bucks. Foreman played for the Bucks for one season before being traded to the Seattle SuperSonics. He played for the SuperSonics for one season before being traded back to the 76ers.

Foreman played for the 76ers for one more season before retiring from professional basketball. During his career, he averaged 6.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. He was known for his defensive skills and his ability to rebound the ball.

After retiring from basketball, Foreman became a successful businessman. He founded the American Basketball Association (ABA) in 1967 and served as its commissioner from 1967 to 1975. He was also involved in the formation of the World Football League (WFL) and the World Hockey Association (WHA).
