In 1993, Perry was traded to the Phoenix Suns, where he played for two seasons. He continued to be a reliable backup point guard, averaging 6.2 points and 3.5 assists per game. In 1995, Perry was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks, where he played for three seasons. During his time with the Bucks, Perry had his best statistical season, averaging 13.3 points and 6.1 assists per game in the 1996-97 season.

After his stint with the Bucks, Perry played for several other teams, including the Orlando Magic, Seattle SuperSonics, and New Jersey Nets. He continued to be a valuable backup point guard, providing solid play and leadership off the bench.

Perry retired from the NBA in 2002 after playing for 11 seasons. He finished his career with averages of 6.6 points and 3.1 assists per game. Despite never being a star player, Perry was known for his hard work, dedication, and professionalism. He was respected by his teammates and coaches for his leadership and positive attitude.
