Eric Snow is a retired American professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 13 seasons. He was born on April 24, 1973, in Canton, Ohio, and attended Canton McKinley High School, where he played basketball and football. Snow played college basketball at Michigan State University, where he was a four-year starter and helped lead the Spartans to the 1995 NCAA Tournament Final Four.
Snow was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the 1995 NBA draft but was immediately traded to the Seattle SuperSonics. He played two seasons with the SuperSonics before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in 1998. Snow spent the next ten seasons with the 76ers, where he became known for his defense and leadership on the court. He was a key member of the 76ers team that reached the NBA Finals in 2001, where they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers.
