Eric Swann was a professional football player who played as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on October 16, 1970, in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. Swann did not play college football, but he was drafted by the Phoenix Cardinals in the first round of the 1991 NFL Supplemental Draft.

Swann played for the Cardinals for seven seasons from 1991 to 1997. He was a dominant force on the defensive line, recording 27 sacks and 5 forced fumbles during his time with the team. Swann was named to the Pro Bowl in 1995 and 1996, and he was also named a First-Team All-Pro in 1995.
