Filip Kuba is a retired Czech professional ice hockey player who played as a defenseman. He began his professional career in 1995 with HC Vitkovice of the Czech Extraliga. He played for the team for four seasons before moving to the NHL in 1998.

Kuba was drafted by the Minnesota Wild in the eighth round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. He played for the Wild for three seasons before being traded to the Calgary Flames in 2003. He played for the Flames for one season before being traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2004.

Kuba played for the Lightning for three seasons and was a key player in their 2004 Stanley Cup championship team. He then signed with the Ottawa Senators in 2008 and played for the team for three seasons.
