Fred Biletnikoff was an American football player who had a successful career in the National Football League (NFL). He was born in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1943 and attended Florida State University, where he was a two-time All-American wide receiver. After college, Biletnikoff was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in 1965 and played for them until 1978.

Biletnikoff was known for his exceptional hands and ability to catch the ball in traffic. He was a reliable target for Raiders quarterbacks and was a key part of the team's success. During his time with the Raiders, Biletnikoff was selected to six Pro Bowls and was named an All-Pro five times. He was also the MVP of Super Bowl XI, in which the Raiders defeated the Minnesota Vikings.

Biletnikoff was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1988 and his number 25 jersey was retired by the Raiders. He was also named to the NFL's All-Time Team in 2000 and the NFL's 75th Anniversary Team in 1994.
