He also served as a team captain and was named the Titans' Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2012 for his community service work.

In 2013, Wilson signed with the Buffalo Bills, where he played for two seasons. He played in all 16 games in both seasons, primarily on special teams, and recorded 32 tackles and one interception. He was released by the Bills in 2015 and signed with the Oakland Raiders, but he was released before the start of the regular season.

Throughout his career, Wilson was known for his versatility and leadership. He played multiple positions on defense and special teams and was respected by his teammates for his work ethic and professionalism. He was also active in the community, participating in numerous charitable events and starting his own foundation to help underprivileged children.
