Greg Manusky is a former American football player who played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons. He was born on August 9, 1966, in Dallas, Texas, and attended Colleyville Heritage High School in Colleyville, Texas.

Manusky played college football at Colgate University, where he was a standout linebacker. He was named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year in 1987 and was a two-time All-Patriot League selection.

In 1988, Manusky was selected by the Washington Redskins in the sixth round of the NFL Draft. He played for the Redskins for four seasons, from 1988 to 1991, and was a key contributor on special teams. In 1992, he signed with the Minnesota Vikings and played for them for two seasons.

Manusky then signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in 1994 and played for them for three seasons. He had his best season in 1994, when he recorded 92 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and two interceptions. In 1997, he signed with the San Diego Chargers and played for them for two seasons.

Manusky finished his NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers, where he played for three seasons from 1999 to 2001. He was a key member of the 49ers' defense and helped them reach the playoffs in 2001.

After retiring from playing, Manusky began his coaching career as a defensive quality control coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002. He then served as the linebackers coach for the San Diego Chargers from 2002 to 2006.

In 2007, Manusky was hired as the defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers. He held that position for four seasons, from 2007 to 2010, and helped the 49ers improve from a 5-11 record in 2007 to an 8-8 record in 2010.

Manusky then served as the defensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts in 2012 and the Washington Redskins from 2017 to 2019. He also had stints as a linebackers coach for the Indianapolis Colts and the Los Angeles Chargers.
