Jack Laviolette was a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is best known for his time with the Montreal Canadiens. He was born in Ottawa, Ontario in 1883 and began his hockey career in the early 1900s.

Laviolette was a talented player who was known for his speed and agility on the ice. He was a left winger and was often used as a defensive specialist. He was also known for his physical play and willingness to drop the gloves when necessary.
