Jarret Johnson is a former American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for over a decade. He was born on August 14, 1981, in Chiefland, Florida, and attended the University of Alabama, where he played college football for the Crimson Tide.
Johnson was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He spent his entire rookie season as a backup, but he quickly became a starter in his second year and remained a key player on the Ravens' defense for the next nine seasons. Johnson was known for his toughness, work ethic, and versatility, as he could play both inside and outside linebacker positions.
During his time with the Ravens, Johnson was part of one of the most dominant defenses in NFL history. He played in two Super Bowls with the team, winning one in 2012. He was also named to the All-Rookie Team in 2003 and the All-AFC Team in 2009.
