Javy Guerra is a former professional baseball player who played as a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB). Guerra was born on October 31, 1985, in Denton, Texas, and attended high school in Texas. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the fourth round of the 2004 MLB draft and began his professional career in the minor leagues.

Guerra made his MLB debut with the Dodgers in 2011 and quickly became a key member of the team's bullpen. He recorded 21 saves in his rookie season and was named the Dodgers' Rookie of the Year.
