Josh Childress is a former American professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and various international leagues. He was born on June 20, 1983, in Harbor City, California, and attended Mayfair High School in Lakewood, California. Childress played college basketball at Stanford University, where he was a standout player and earned All-American honors.
