Josh Gordon is a former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for several teams. He began his football career at Baylor University, where he played for two seasons before being suspended for violating team rules. Despite this setback, Gordon was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 2012 NFL Supplemental Draft.

Gordon quickly established himself as one of the most talented wide receivers in the league, earning Pro Bowl honors in his second season. However, his career was plagued by off-field issues, including multiple suspensions for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. These suspensions caused him to miss significant portions of several seasons and ultimately led to his release from the Browns in 2018.

After a brief stint with the New England Patriots, Gordon was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 2019. He played in five games for the team before being suspended indefinitely for violating the league's policies on performance-enhancing drugs and substances of abuse. Gordon applied for reinstatement multiple times but was denied each time, effectively ending his NFL career.

Despite his struggles off the field, Gordon was widely regarded as one of the most talented wide receivers of his generation. He finished his NFL career with 4,252 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns in 63 games played. While his career was marred by controversy, many fans and analysts believe that he could have been one of the greatest receivers of all time if he had been able to stay on the field and out of trouble.
