Kendrys Morales is a Cuban-born professional baseball player who played as a designated hitter and first baseman in Major League Baseball (MLB). He began his career in 2005 with the Cuban National Series, where he played for four seasons before defecting to the United States in 2004.

Morales signed with the Los Angeles Angels in 2004 and made his MLB debut in 2006. He quickly established himself as a reliable hitter, batting .294 with 34 home runs and 108 RBIs in 2009. However, his career was derailed in 2010 when he suffered a broken leg while celebrating a walk-off home run, causing him to miss the entire 2011 season.

Morales returned to the Angels in 2012 and had a solid season, batting .273 with 22 home runs and 73 RBIs. However, he struggled in 2013 and was traded to the Seattle Mariners in December of that year.

Morales played for the Mariners in 2014 and had a decent season, batting .218 with eight home runs and 42 RBIs in 98 games. He was traded to the Minnesota Twins in July 2014 and finished the season with a .234 batting average, eight home runs, and 42 RBIs in 39 games.

Morales signed with the Kansas City Royals in 2015 and had a career year, batting .290 with 22 home runs and 106 RBIs. He helped lead the Royals to the World Series, where they defeated the New York Mets in five games.

Morales continued to play for the Royals through the 2018 season, batting .263 with 25 home runs and 85 RBIs in 2016, .255 with 28 home runs and 85 RBIs in 2017, and .249 with 22 home runs and 57 RBIs in 2018.

Morales was traded to the Oakland Athletics in March 2019 and played for them for a short time before being released in September of that year. He finished the 2019 season with a .204 batting average, one home run, and seven RBIs in 34 games.

Overall, Morales had a successful career in MLB, batting .267 with 212 home runs and 773 RBIs in 1,379 games. He was known for his power hitting and ability to drive in runs, and he helped lead the Royals to their first World Series championship in 30 years.
