Kevin Pritchard is a former professional basketball player and current executive in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball at the University of Kansas, where he was a standout point guard and helped lead the Jayhawks to the Final Four in 1986.

After college, Pritchard played professionally in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) and in Europe before being drafted by the Golden State Warriors in the second round of the 1990 NBA Draft. He played for the Warriors for two seasons before being traded to the Indiana Pacers, where he played for one season before retiring from playing.

After retiring, Pritchard began his career in basketball management, working as a scout for the Kansas City Knights of the International Basketball League (IBL) and later as an assistant coach for the Fort Wayne Fury of the CBA. He then worked as a scout for the San Antonio Spurs, where he helped build the team that won the NBA championship in 1999.

Pritchard then became the general manager of the Portland Trail Blazers in 2007, where he helped rebuild the team and led them to the playoffs in 2009 and 2010. He was also responsible for drafting players such as Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge, who became key players for the team.

In 2010, Pritchard was fired from the Trail Blazers and took a job as the director of player personnel for the Indiana Pacers. He was later promoted to general manager in 2012, where he helped build the team that made it to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2013 and 2014.

In 2017, Pritchard was named the president of basketball operations for the Pacers, where he continues to work today. He has been responsible for drafting players such as Domantas Sabonis and Caris LeVert, as well as making trades to improve the team's roster.

Throughout his career, Pritchard has been known for his ability to evaluate talent and build successful teams. He has also been praised for his leadership and his ability to work well with coaches and players.
