Kyle Orton is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for over a decade. He began his career in 2005 as a fourth-round draft pick for the Chicago Bears. Orton played for the Bears for three seasons, starting in 33 games and leading the team to the playoffs in 2005.

In 2008, Orton was traded to the Denver Broncos, where he played for two seasons. He had a career-best season in 2009, throwing for over 3,800 yards and 21 touchdowns. However, he was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2011 after the Broncos acquired quarterback Tim Tebow.

Orton played for the Chiefs for one season before signing with the Dallas Cowboys in 2012. He served as a backup quarterback for the Cowboys for two seasons before being released in 2014. Orton briefly signed with the Buffalo Bills in 2014 but retired before the start of the season.

Throughout his career, Orton was known for his strong arm and ability to make quick decisions on the field. He finished his career with over 18,000 passing yards and 101 touchdowns. Despite never winning a Super Bowl, Orton was a respected veteran quarterback in the league and played for several successful teams throughout his career.
