La'Roi Glover is a former American football defensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons. He was born on July 4, 1974, in San Diego, California, and attended San Diego State University, where he played college football for the Aztecs.
Glover was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the fifth round of the 1996 NFL Draft, but he spent his rookie season on injured reserve. He was then signed by the Barcelona Dragons of the World League of American Football (WLAF) and played for them in 1997.
In 1998, Glover signed with the New Orleans Saints, where he played for five seasons and established himself as one of the best defensive tackles in the league. He was selected to the Pro Bowl four times during his tenure with the Saints and was named a first-team All-Pro three times.
In 2002, Glover signed with the Dallas Cowboys as a free agent and played for them for three seasons. He continued to play at a high level, earning Pro Bowl honors in 2002 and 2003 and being named a first-team All-Pro in 2002.
After his time with the Cowboys, Glover played for the St. Louis Rams in 2006 and the Kansas City Chiefs in 2007 before retiring after the 2008 season. He finished his career with 83.5 sacks, 433 tackles, and 16 forced fumbles.
