Larry Webster was a professional football player who played as a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on March 12, 1967, in Elkton, Maryland, and attended Elkton High School, where he played football and basketball. Webster was a standout athlete in high school and was named the Maryland High School Player of the Year in 1984.

After high school, Webster attended the University of Maryland, where he played football for the Terrapins. He was a two-time All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) selection and was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 1989. Webster was also a standout in track and field and was a two-time ACC champion in the shot put.

Webster was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the third round of the 1992 NFL Draft. He played for the Dolphins for two seasons before being traded to the Cleveland Browns in 1994. Webster played for the Browns for one season before being released and signing with the Baltimore Ravens in 1996.

Webster played for the Ravens for four seasons and was a key member of the team's defense. He was known for his size and strength and was a dominant force on the defensive line. Webster helped the Ravens win Super Bowl XXXV in 2001, recording a sack in the game.

After the Super Bowl victory, Webster signed with the New York Jets but was released before the start of the season. He then signed with the Cleveland Browns for a second stint but was released after one season. Webster signed with the San Francisco 49ers in 2002 but was released before the start of the season, ending his NFL career.

Webster finished his NFL career with 32 sacks, 7 forced fumbles, and 1 interception. He was a dominant player on the defensive line and was known for his size and strength. Webster was also a standout in track and field and was inducted into the University of Maryland Athletics Hall of Fame in 2006.

After his NFL career, Webster worked as a high school football coach and was also involved in youth sports programs. He was a mentor to many young athletes and was known for his dedication to helping others. Webster passed away on March 3, 2017, at the age of 49.
