Leslie Alexander is a former owner of the Houston Rockets basketball team. He purchased the team in 1993 for $85 million and sold it in 2017 for $2.2 billion. During his tenure as owner, the Rockets won two NBA championships in 1994 and 1995. Alexander was known for his hands-on approach to team management and was involved in many of the team's decisions, including the hiring of coaches and players. He was also known for his philanthropic efforts, donating millions of dollars to various charities and organizations. Alexander was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017 for his contributions to the sport.
