Logan Morrison is a former professional baseball player who played as a first baseman and outfielder in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on August 25, 1987, in Kansas City, Missouri, and grew up in Slidell, Louisiana. Morrison attended Northshore High School in Slidell, where he played baseball and was named the Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year in 2005.

Morrison was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 22nd round of the 2005 MLB draft. He spent several years in the Marlins' minor league system before making his MLB debut in 2010. Morrison played for the Marlins from 2010 to 2013, where he was known for his power hitting and ability to get on base. In 2011, he hit 23 home runs and had 72 RBIs, earning him a spot on the MLB All-Rookie Team.

In 2014, Morrison was traded to the Seattle Mariners, where he played for two seasons. He had a solid season in 2014, hitting 11 home runs and driving in 38 runs in just 99 games. However, he struggled in 2015, hitting just a .225 batting average with 17 home runs and 54 RBIs.

After his stint with the Mariners, Morrison signed with the Tampa Bay Rays in 2016. He had a breakout season in 2017, hitting a career-high 38 home runs and driving in 85 runs. He also had a .246 batting average and a .353 on-base percentage. Morrison's performance earned him a spot on the American League All-Star team.

Morrison signed with the Minnesota Twins in 2018, where he played for one season. He hit 15 home runs and had 39 RBIs in 95 games. In 2019, Morrison played for the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Yankees, but he struggled at the plate, hitting just a .200 batting average with two home runs and 13 RBIs in 43 games.

Morrison announced his retirement from baseball in 2020. Over his career, he played in 1,018 games, hitting 137 home runs and driving in 421 runs. He had a .239 batting average and a .323 on-base percentage. Morrison was known for his power hitting and ability to get on base, but he also struggled with injuries throughout his career.

Off the field, Morrison was known for his outspoken personality and his willingness to speak his mind. He was also involved in several charitable organizations, including the Wounded Warrior Project and the Boys and Girls Club of America.
