Mark May is a former American football player who played as an offensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL) for ten seasons. He was born on November 2, 1959, in Oneonta, New York, and attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he played college football.

May was selected by the Washington Redskins in the first round of the 1981 NFL Draft, and he played for the team from 1981 to 1989. During his time with the Redskins, May was a key member of the team's offensive line, which helped the team win two Super Bowl championships in 1983 and 1988. He played in 118 games for the Redskins, starting in 112 of them.
