Mark Simoneau is a former American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 10 seasons. He was born on January 16, 1977, in Phillipsburg, Kansas, and attended Kansas State University, where he played college football for the Wildcats.
Simoneau was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the third round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He played for the Falcons for two seasons before being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2002. He spent three seasons with the Eagles, where he was a key contributor on special teams and as a backup linebacker.
In 2005, Simoneau signed with the New Orleans Saints as a free agent. He played for the Saints for four seasons and was a starter for most of his time there.
