Marques Douglas is a former American football defensive end who played in the National Football League (NFL) for over a decade. He began his football career at Howard University, where he played as a defensive tackle and was named to the All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference team twice.

After going undrafted in the 1999 NFL Draft, Douglas signed with the Baltimore Ravens as a free agent. He spent the next four seasons with the Ravens, where he played in 62 games and recorded 10 sacks. In 2003, he helped the Ravens win Super Bowl XXXV.

In 2003, Douglas signed with the Chicago Bears as a free agent. He played in 16 games for the Bears that season, recording 3 sacks and 1 interception. He then signed with the San Francisco 49ers in 2005, where he played for three seasons. During his time with the 49ers, he played in 47 games and recorded 10 sacks.

In 2008, Douglas signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but was released before the start of the regular season. He then signed with the Baltimore Ravens for a second stint, where he played in 16 games and recorded 2 sacks. He finished his NFL career with the New York Jets, where he played in 32 games over two seasons and recorded 3 sacks.

Throughout his NFL career, Douglas was known for his versatility and ability to play multiple positions on the defensive line. He was also known for his work ethic and leadership qualities, and was often praised by coaches and teammates for his professionalism and dedication to the game.

After retiring from the NFL, Douglas worked as a defensive line coach for several college football teams, including the University of Massachusetts, the University of Arizona, and the California Golden Bears. He is currently the defensive line coach for the Purdue Boilermakers.
