Michael Dean Perry is a former American football defensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL) for ten seasons. He was born on August 27, 1965, in Aiken, South Carolina, and attended Clemson University, where he played college football for the Clemson Tigers.
Perry was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 1988 NFL Draft. He quickly established himself as one of the best defensive tackles in the league, earning Pro Bowl honors in each of his first six seasons.
