Mike Munchak is a former American football player and coach who is considered one of the greatest offensive linemen in NFL history. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001.

Munchak was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania and attended Penn State University. He was a three-time All-American and was selected in the first round of the 1982 NFL Draft by the Houston Oilers. During his 12-year career with the Oilers, Munchak was selected to nine Pro Bowls and was named All-Pro six times. He was also a key member of the Oilers' famed 'Run and Shoot' offense.

In 1994, Munchak retired from playing and joined the Oilers' coaching staff. He was promoted to head coach in 2011, but was fired after two seasons. He then joined the Tennessee Titans as an assistant head coach and offensive line coach. He held that position for five seasons before being named head coach in 2011. He was fired after three seasons.

Munchak is currently the offensive line coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has been credited with helping the Steelers' offensive line become one of the best in the NFL.

Munchak is widely considered one of the greatest offensive linemen in NFL history. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001 and is still considered one of the best offensive line coaches in the league. His career has been marked by success both as a player and a coach.
