Ndamukong Suh is a former American football defensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL) for over a decade. He was born on January 6, 1987, in Portland, Oregon, and attended the University of Nebraska, where he played college football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Suh was selected by the Detroit Lions as the second overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. He quickly established himself as one of the best defensive players in the league, earning five Pro Bowl selections and four First-Team All-Pro honors during his time with the Lions.

In 2015, Suh signed a six-year, $114 million contract with the Miami Dolphins, making him the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history at the time. He played for the Dolphins for three seasons before being released in 2018.
