Paddy Moran was a Canadian professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey Association (NHA) and the National Hockey League (NHL). He was born in Ottawa, Ontario in 1887 and began his hockey career in the Ottawa City Hockey League.

Moran was known for his aggressive style of play and was a key member of the Ottawa Senators team that won the Stanley Cup in 1909. He was also a member of the Toronto Shamrocks team that won the Cup in 1914.

Moran was a two-time NHA scoring champion, winning the title in 1912 and 1913. He was also a two-time winner of the O'Brien Trophy, which was awarded to the NHA's leading scorer.

Moran was traded to the Montreal Canadiens in 1916 and was part of the team that won the Stanley Cup in 1916. He was also part of the first NHL team in 1917, when the NHA merged with the Pacific Coast Hockey Association to form the NHL.

Moran retired from hockey in 1917 due to a knee injury. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1962.
