Peter Moylan is a former Australian professional baseball player who played as a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB). He began his career in the minor leagues in 1996, playing for the Australian Baseball League and the Australian national team. In 1998, he signed with the Minnesota Twins and played in their minor league system until 2006.

Moylan made his MLB debut in 2006 with the Atlanta Braves, where he played for the majority of his career. He was known for his sidearm delivery and his ability to induce ground balls. Moylan was a reliable reliever for the Braves, appearing in 80 or more games in three different seasons. He was also a key member of the Braves bullpen during their playoff runs in 2010 and 2012.

In addition to his time with the Braves, Moylan also played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Kansas City Royals, and the Texas Rangers. He struggled with injuries throughout his career, undergoing multiple surgeries on his back, shoulder, and elbow. Despite these setbacks, Moylan continued to play and was known for his resilience and determination.

Off the field, Moylan was known for his philanthropic work. He founded the Peter Moylan Foundation, which supports children with disabilities and their families. He also participated in various charity events and fundraisers throughout his career.
