Petr Sykora is a former Czech professional ice hockey player who had a successful career in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was born on November 19, 1976, in Plzen, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic). Sykora began his hockey career in his home country, playing for HC Plzen in the Czech Extraliga.
