Raheem Morris is a former American football coach and player who has had a successful career in the sport. Morris began his football career as a player, playing as a defensive back for Hofstra University from 1994 to 1997. After his college career, Morris began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Hofstra in 1998.

Morris then moved on to coach at Cornell University and then at the University of Kansas. In 2002, Morris joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a defensive quality control coach. He quickly moved up the ranks, becoming the defensive backs coach in 2007 and the defensive coordinator in 2008.

In 2009, Morris was named the head coach of the Buccaneers, becoming the youngest head coach in the NFL at the time. Morris had a rocky start to his head coaching career, with the Buccaneers finishing with a 3-13 record in his first season. However, Morris and the Buccaneers bounced back in 2010, finishing with a 10-6 record and narrowly missing the playoffs.

Morris was fired by the Buccaneers in 2011 after a disappointing 4-12 season. He then joined the Washington Redskins as a defensive backs coach in 2012 before moving on to the Atlanta Falcons in the same role in 2015.

In 2016, Morris was promoted to assistant head coach and wide receivers coach for the Falcons. He played a key role in the Falcons' run to the Super Bowl that season, where they ultimately lost to the New England Patriots.

Morris then moved on to coach the defensive backs for the San Francisco 49ers in 2019 before returning to the Falcons as their defensive coordinator in 2020. Morris took over as interim head coach for the Falcons in Week 6 of the 2020 season after the team fired head coach Dan Quinn. Under Morris' leadership, the Falcons finished the season with a 4-12 record.

Overall, Morris has had a successful career in football, both as a player and a coach. He has coached at both the college and professional levels and has been a part of several successful teams. While his time as a head coach was short-lived, Morris has proven himself to be a valuable assistant coach and coordinator.
