Ramon Humber is a former American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nearly a decade. He began his football career in college, playing for North Dakota State University from 2004 to 2007. During his time at NDSU, Humber was a standout player, earning All-American honors and helping his team win two Division II national championships.

After college, Humber went undrafted in the 2008 NFL Draft but was signed as a free agent by the Indianapolis Colts. He spent the majority of his rookie season on the practice squad but was eventually promoted to the active roster and played in two games. Humber was released by the Colts in 2009 and signed with the New Orleans Saints, where he would spend the next four seasons.

During his time with the Saints, Humber was primarily a special teams player but also saw some action on defense. He was a key contributor on the Saints' Super Bowl XLIV championship team in 2009, recording a tackle in the game. Humber's best season with the Saints came in 2012, when he played in all 16 games and recorded 26 tackles and a forced fumble.

After his time with the Saints, Humber played for several other NFL teams, including the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, and New England Patriots again. He was primarily a special teams player during this time but also saw some action on defense. Humber's best season outside of New Orleans came in 2016, when he played for the Bills and recorded a career-high 83 tackles.

Humber announced his retirement from the NFL in 2019, ending a career that spanned nearly a decade. Over the course of his career, he played in 130 games and recorded 234 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles. While Humber was never a star player in the NFL, he was a reliable and versatile player who was valued for his special teams contributions and ability to play multiple positions on defense.
