Samuel Dalembert is a former professional basketball player who had a successful career in the NBA. He was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and moved to Canada at the age of 14. He was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2001 and played for them until 2010. During his time with the 76ers, he was a two-time NBA All-Star and was named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2006.

Dalembert was then traded to the Sacramento Kings in 2010 and played for them until 2012. He then signed with the Houston Rockets and played for them until 2014. During his time with the Rockets, he was a part of the team that won the 2013 Western Conference Championship.

In 2014, Dalembert signed with the Dallas Mavericks and played for them until 2015. He then signed with the New York Knicks and played for them until 2016. During his time with the Knicks, he was a part of the team that won the 2015 Eastern Conference Championship.

Dalembert was known for his defensive prowess and was a key contributor to the success of the teams he played for. He was a great shot blocker and rebounder and was a great teammate. He was also known for his leadership and was a great mentor to younger players.
