Scott Feldman is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for several teams during his career. He was born on February 7, 1983, in Kailua, Hawaii, and attended the College of San Mateo before being drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 30th round of the 2003 MLB draft.

Feldman made his MLB debut with the Rangers in 2005 and spent the next eight seasons with the team. During his time in Texas, he was primarily used as a starting pitcher but also made appearances out of the bullpen. He had a career year in 2009, posting a 17-8 record with a 4.08 ERA and finishing ninth in the American League Cy Young Award voting.

In 2013, Feldman signed with the Chicago Cubs as a free agent and was traded to the Baltimore Orioles midway through the season. He pitched well for the Orioles down the stretch, helping them make the playoffs, but struggled in his lone postseason appearance.

Feldman signed with the Houston Astros in 2014 and spent two seasons with the team. He was primarily used as a starter in 2014 but was moved to the bullpen in 2015. He was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays in August 2015 but struggled in his brief stint with the team.

Feldman signed with the Cincinnati Reds in 2016 and spent one season with the team. He was used as both a starter and a reliever and had a 7-4 record with a 3.97 ERA in 26 appearances.

Feldman signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2017 but was released during spring training. He signed a minor league deal with the Cincinnati Reds and made a few appearances for their Triple-A affiliate before announcing his retirement from baseball in November 2017.

Overall, Feldman had a solid career in the majors, posting a 78-84 record with a 4.43 ERA in 383 appearances (196 starts). He was known for his durability and ability to eat innings, as well as his versatility in being able to pitch out of the bullpen or as a starter.
