Tim Harris is a former American football player who played as a defensive end and linebacker. He played college football at Memphis State University and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 1986 NFL Draft.

Harris played for the Packers for six seasons and was known for his pass-rushing abilities. He recorded 55.5 sacks during his time with the team, including a career-high 19.5 sacks in the 1989 season. He was named to the Pro Bowl twice and was a first-team All-Pro selection in 1989.

After leaving the Packers, Harris played for the San Francisco 49ers for two seasons and the Philadelphia Eagles for one season. He finished his career with 81.5 sacks, 14 forced fumbles, and 3 interceptions.

Harris was known for his aggressive playing style and was often involved in on-field altercations. He was fined multiple times for unsportsmanlike conduct and was suspended for one game in 1992 for throwing a punch at an opposing player.

After retiring from football, Harris worked as a coach at the high school, college, and professional levels. He was the defensive line coach for the Baltimore Ravens when they won Super Bowl XXXV in 2001.

In 2019, Harris was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in recognition of his contributions to the team during his career.
