Tim Jennings is a former American football cornerback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He was born on December 24, 1983, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, and attended the University of Georgia, where he played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs.

Jennings was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played for the Colts for four seasons, from 2006 to 2009, and was primarily used as a nickelback. During his time with the Colts, Jennings played in 53 games and recorded 157 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 2 forced fumbles.

In 2010, Jennings signed with the Chicago Bears as a free agent. He quickly became a starter for the Bears and had a breakout season in 2012, when he led the NFL with 9 interceptions and was named to the Pro Bowl and the All-Pro team. Jennings continued to play well for the Bears in 2013 and 2014, recording a total of 10 interceptions over those two seasons.

After the 2014 season, the Bears released Jennings, and he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played one season for the Buccaneers in 2015, starting 12 games and recording 50 tackles and 1 interception.

Jennings retired from the NFL in 2016, finishing his career with 135 games played, 480 tackles, 23 interceptions, and 3 forced fumbles. He was known for his speed, agility, and ball skills, and was considered one of the top cornerbacks in the league during his prime.

Off the field, Jennings was involved in several charitable organizations, including the Tim Jennings Foundation, which provides educational and athletic opportunities for underprivileged children. He also worked as a football analyst for various media outlets after retiring from the NFL.
