Tomas Fleischmann is a former professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for over a decade. He was born on May 16, 1984, in Koprivnice, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic).
Fleischmann began his professional career in the Czech Extraliga, playing for HC Vitkovice. He was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the second round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, but he did not sign with the team and instead continued to play in Europe.

Fleischmann played for the Panthers for two seasons, but his production continued to decline. He was traded to the Anaheim Ducks in 2015, but he played just nine games for the team before being placed on waivers and eventually being sent to the minors.
Fleischmann signed with the Montreal Canadiens in 2015, but he played just 19 games for the team before being traded to the Chicago Blackhawks. He played in just four games for the Blackhawks before being traded again, this time to the Washington Capitals, where he finished his NHL career.
Overall, Fleischmann played in 657 NHL games, scoring 137 goals and 193 assists for a total of 330 points. He also represented the Czech Republic in several international tournaments, including the 2010 Winter Olympics.
