Tony McDaniel is a former American football defensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL) for over a decade. He began his football career at Hinds Community College in Mississippi before transferring to the University of Tennessee. McDaniel went undrafted in the 2006 NFL Draft but was signed as a free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

McDaniel spent his first two seasons with the Jaguars, primarily playing on special teams. He then signed with the Miami Dolphins in 2009 and became a starter on their defensive line. He played for the Dolphins for three seasons before signing with the Seattle Seahawks in 2013.

McDaniel played a key role in the Seahawks' Super Bowl XLVIII victory over the Denver Broncos, recording two tackles and a sack in the game. He played for the Seahawks for two seasons before being released in 2015. He then signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he played for two seasons before being released again in 2017.

Throughout his career, McDaniel was known for his size and strength, as well as his ability to stop the run. He recorded 11 sacks, 12 passes defensed, and 191 tackles over the course of his career. Despite going undrafted, McDaniel was able to carve out a successful career in the NFL and was a valuable contributor to several teams.
